Dr Paul Alsop, BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science (Histology), MBBS (University of Newcastle Upon Tyne), FRNZCGP, is a Primary Care Skin Cancer Doctor at Bay Skin. He has completed the Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery (Skin Cancer College Australasia, 2020) and a Certificate in Dermoscopy with Distinction (2019). His background in histology and over a decade of medical practice in New Zealand provide a solid foundation for accurate diagnosis and surgical management of skin cancers.

At Bay Skin, Dr Alsop performs full skin checks, lesion assessments, biopsies, and a range of surgical procedures including layered closures, flaps, and grafts. His practice is centred on evidence-based care with an emphasis on early detection and appropriate treatment.
