Dr Chauhan graduated from the University of Aberdeen and completing his initial medical training across the north of Scotland. He moved to Tauranga in 2014 and has been a valued member of the Bay Skin Cancer Clinic team since 2020.

He holds a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) from the University of Queensland and is an accredited member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Chauhan also holds RNZCGP Fellowship.

He is credentialed to do skin cancer surgery for the WBOP PHO up to the Advanced Plus Level.
