Doctor Lia Brugha graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 2008.



After enjoying time working in New Zealand she undertook her specialist GP training in London. Fortuitous circumstances brought her back to New Zealand in 2021 where she gained her fellowship with the Royal NZ college of GPs and joined Bay Skin Cancer Clinic.



Lia has completed both Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine certificates through Australasian Skin Cancer College. She is credentialed to do skin cancer surgery for the WBOP PHO and enjoys seeing all types of patients for their skin checks and surgeries.
